We got some mechanics issue on Friday for the practice but with the help of Matt Gerald and his family and Joe Sylvester we got the Buggy ready to race both days.

What a good day of racing in Bark River today. Started all the way in the back of the field and worked up to 7th position. Could not be more happy, my buggy class has really good racers and you gotta work hard to get to the top.

Next stop will be the big race in Crandon, can't wait to go race there again this year. Big big thanks to my partner on my race buggy : @pinksprocketracing @offroadvixens @knfilters @amsoilinc @pyrotect_racing @backbonetruckracks @stratuswear @rippedvinyl #Jim'sCustomVW # ISP #BeckettBodyworks

Race Report - Crandon International Raceway

Crandon International Raceway is by far the best place I have raced in my life. They have the biggest Offroad track in the United States and the two events annually draw in the area of 75,000 fans. We are one of the only teams that displays and sells product for our sponsors and fans love it. I almost sold out of merchandise after the first day of racing.

It is really special to be asked to sign autographs all weekend. People stop in the pit and watch you work on your race vehicle and they ask questions and really take a genuine interest in what you are doing.  The overall experience in Crandon was awesome. People are surprised to see a girl working on her own race vehicle too!

I was pretty nervous on the first day because Crandon is the fastest track in Torc and they have a land rush start. I did not get to practice after the Bark River race but I was still really confident. I had the best feeling ever on the start and my adrenaline was on the top. I finally got a top 10 on Sunday and I had the 6th best lap time. I am pretty satisfied with my results because every race I’m getting faster and moving up positions.

The next 3 race weekends coming up are the biggest. If you have any ideas of promotion that we can do, please let me know. We will be doing a Rigid Industries contest at the next race for the fans.

All our races are live on Youtube via the Torc website : https://www.youtube.com/user/USACTORC

Last weekend was my first Short Course Off Road race in the Torc Series at Bark River,MI.

Being a part of Team JSM gave me the chance to be in the pits with the Pros and gave my sponsors a lot of visibility. We definitely caught alot of attention from the fans with our product displays like our Lincoln Welders Monster Wagons, The rigid Industries display lights and the Off-Road Vixens merchandise.

I did not have a lot of seat time before my first race but I felt pretty confident. My first impression when I saw the track was that I was going to have to be on the gas because Bark River is a really fast track. On my way to tech inspection, my clutch cable broke. The team worked really hard to fix it but not in time for me to make it to my practice. I can say that all the hard work we put into my buggy to have it ready was worth it after all the fun I had during my racing. I made a couple mistakes in a few corners but I learned so much and did much better the second day of racing. I did not do any top 10 but I got better every lap I did on the track.

In two weeks, I will be heading to Crandon for my second weekend of racing.  For the first time we will have some Rigid Industries Led Lighting products for sale due to a lot of requests from fans.

I can’t thank all my sponsors enough that believed in me:

Off-Road Vixen, Cooper Tires, Amsoil, Bob and Chuck Eddy, ISP, Monster Hooks, Pyrotect, Ripped Vinyl, Pink Sprocket Racing and Rigid Industries.
